Helping Women Understand Their Story—and Choose What Comes Next.

I believe healing can begin when we stop asking, “What's wrong with me?” and begin asking, “What happened, what shaped me, and what do I need now?”

Through ancestral healing, transgenerational healing, and holistic practices rooted in Mesoamerican traditions, I help women understand the emotional, physical, and generational patterns that shape their lives so they can move forward with greater freedom, self-compassion, and purpose.

You Don't Have to Walk This Journey Alone

Healing doesn't have to happen in isolation.

My own journey has taught me the importance of having spaces where we can question, feel, remember, and understand without being judged or rushed.

Whether we're working one-on-one, gathering in a women's circle, or sharing ceremony, my intention is to create a space where you can bring your questions, your experiences, and your whole story.

Healing Begins with Understanding

For many of us, the first question is, “How do I make this stop?” The repeating relationship. The anger. The fear. The guilt. The reaction we don't understand. The pattern we promised ourselves we wouldn't repeat.

My work invites another question: “Where might this be coming from?”

Sometimes the answer is connected to our own experiences. Sometimes our childhood, relationships, family dynamics, culture, or the stories passed through generations help us understand why certain patterns continue.

Understanding doesn't mean blaming the past or allowing it to define us. It gives us more awareness of what shaped us—and more choice about what we do next.

“Their sessions helped me find calm and clarity. Each class brings peace and strength I carry into daily life. I’ve never felt more connected to my body and mind.”

MY JOURNEY

A Search for Healing Became a Path Home

My journey into healing began long before Delgado Terapias Holísticas had a name. After becoming a mother in 2000, I found myself searching for guidance and trying to understand an unhappiness I couldn't quite explain. What began as a personal search introduced me to holistic healing, spirituality, nature-based practices, and years of exploring different ways of understanding ourselves and the experiences we carry.

In many ways, though, I was also returning to something familiar. My maternal grandmother raised me with a mixture of Catholic beliefs and traditional practices. When we were frightened, sick, or simply not feeling like ourselves, she might reach for an egg, herbs, prayer, candles, or her hands. As a child, I didn't have language for those practices. They were simply part of how my grandmother cared for us.

Years later, after her passing in 2019, another period of my own healing led me to transgenerational work. I began looking more deeply at my family history and recognizing patterns that seemed to travel across generations. That changed the questions I was asking. Instead of only looking at what was happening in my life, I began exploring what had shaped the way I experienced it.

That exploration also brought me back toward my cultural and ancestral roots. Through teachers, courses, study, and continued practice, I began reconnecting more intentionally with ancestral and Mesoamerican traditions and recognizing connections between what I was learning and some of the practices I had witnessed growing up.

But perhaps the most important part of this journey has been learning to see myself differently. For much of my life, I was responding to the present through wounds from the past—sometimes experiencing rejection, fear, or abandonment even when that wasn't what was happening in front of me. Healing helped me recognize those patterns with greater compassion and take responsibility for caring for myself, asking for help, receiving affection, and relating to the people I love from a different place.

As my understanding of myself changed, my relationships changed too.

In 2022, I began working independently with a nonprofit supporting community healing. I didn't yet have a name for what I was building. I simply knew that the things that had helped me understand my own life might also be meaningful to other women who had felt lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

That work slowly became Delgado Terapias Holísticas.

What began as my search for healing became a practice of learning, remembering, sharing, and walking beside other women as they discover what their own stories have to teach them.

What I Bring to This Work

Education & Cultural Foundation

My understanding of culture, identity, history, and community is grounded in both lived experience and formal study, including a Bachelor's degree in Mexican American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.

This foundation continues to shape the way I understand family, culture, identity, ancestral memory, and the larger systems that influence our individual stories.

Emotional & Transgenerational Healing

My studies have included approaches that explore childhood experiences, family relationships, emotional patterns, transgenerational healing, and the ways our past can influence how we experience the present.

I bring these perspectives into my work as tools for exploration—not absolute explanations of someone's life.

Ancestral & Ceremonial Practices

I continue studying ancestral and Mesoamerican healing traditions through teachers, courses, community, and practice, including traditional cleansing practices, plant knowledge, ceremony, and my ongoing training in temazcal traditions.

I approach these teachings with respect for their cultural roots and with the understanding that I am both practitioner and student.

Community Facilitation & Accompaniment

My work with women extends beyond individual sessions. Through years of community-based work, I have facilitated workshops, women's groups, educational experiences, and healing spaces where participants can learn, reflect, question, and connect with others.

That experience has reinforced one of my deepest beliefs: people don't need someone to tell them who they are. They need spaces where they can safely explore and discover that for themselves.

Your Story Deserves Space, Too.

You've learned a little about my journey, what shaped this work, and what I bring into the spaces I create.

But this work isn't about my story.

It's about creating space for you to understand yours.

You don't need to arrive with answers. You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for. You can begin with a question, a pattern you've noticed, something you've been carrying, or simply the feeling that you're ready to understand yourself differently.

When you're ready, explore the ways we can work together and choose what feels right for you.

Ancestral wisdom, holistic healing, ceremony, and community experiences for women seeking deeper understanding, connection, and intentional change.
